HISTORIC HONORS The Floydada Whirlwinds boys varsity basketball team is on the verge of making history this week. They have already tied a school record with 30 wins in one season, and if they prevailed over Sudan Tuesday night, will set a new record with 31 wins, and that’s before they have their third shoot-out of the year with Olton to determine who will be the #1 seed going into the post-season. Plus, this week they’re ranked #12 in the state in 2A. | COURTESY PHOTOS
