Floydada Chamber gives scholarships to two Floydada students

Body The Floydada Chamber of Commerce scholarships are chosen annually by the Chamber board and are given to students who have volunteered for events throughout high school. Selected for the Floydada Collegiate ISD Class of 2023 were Tatum Glassock and Izaih Alvarado.

Wayland students help clean up Matador tornado debris

Body PLAINVIEW— Several Wayland Baptist University students traveled on Saturday with College Heights Baptist Church’s youth group to Matador, where they cleared debris strewn along US 70 by a tornado that ripped through the city June 21.
