Body 34-year-old Michael Angelo Ramos of Floydada was taken into custody Sunday afternoon after an hours-long standoff with deputies in Floyd County, according to Floyd County Sheriff Paul Raissez.

Blue paradise smoothie a spring treat

Body Normally, “green” smoothies are my forte, packed with kale and spinach, and sweetened up with frozen banana and mango. And I occasionally enjoy a berry smoothie. But lately, I’ve been experimenting with the bright blue powder known as spirulina in my smoothies.
