Texas Tax-Free Weekend set for Aug. 9-11

Body Texas will hold its 25th annual Tax-Free Weekend August 9-11, during which consumers can save money on tax-free purchases of most clothing, footwear, school supplies and backpacks (sold for less than $100) during the event.

Lockney Longhorn Band starts preparing for an exciting year

Body The Longhorn Marching Band guard and percussion started back last Thursday (July 25) and are doing great things, according to social media posts. The full Longhorn Band reported on Monday, July 29 for summer band.
