Lockney ISD superintendent announces retirement

Body Lockney ISD superintendent Jim Baum has announced his retirement.Baum came to Lockney in 2017 to begin his first term as a superintendent.In November 2024, he informed the school board of his intent to retire from education effective June 2025.

Body CASE UPDATENovember 11, 2024, the Subway franchise owner reported to the Sheriff’s Office that his manager stole about twenty-five thousand dollars. The crime was discovered while the franchisee was in the process of selling the business to someone else.
