March blows in like a lion.
How appropriate that the Floydada Whirlwinds and the Memphis Cyclones met up March 21, the first day of spring, for the first district game in District 2-2A.
Even better is that the Whirlwinds blew away their opponent, taking an 11-1 win and extending their impressive March run.
