Participation has increased in its second year of the program, going from 15 kids to 41 this year, he said. At the July 19 meeting of the Friends of the Floyd County Library, librarian Ren Ortiz reported that he had used funds from the Ladd & Katharine Hancher grant money for technology improvement to purchase a tri-chrome laser projector with a 150” screen. The new equipment will be available for use in the media/conference room upon request. Ortiz is excited to have the technology to host meetings…
