    Funeral services were held at Lockney Cemetery for Floyd County’s last surviving World War II veteran on Dec. 2 in Lockney.

    Lon Charner Colvin passed away at age 95 on Nov. 26. He received a military burial performed by Ed Marks, American Legion Post 141. Rev. Auggie Aguilera of the First United Methodist church of Lockney officiated.
