Longhorns’ Alvarado wins 400m dash in area meet; Longhorns, Lady Horns to send athletes to region meet May 1–2 in Canyon

The Lockney Longhorns and Lady Horns track and field teams competed in the District 3 and 4-2A area meet in Abernathy on April 17. Lockney competed against Bovina, Farwell, Hale Center, Olton and Sudan from District 3. They also competed against Abernathy, Floydada, New Deal, New Home, Post, Ralls and Tahoka from District 4.
