Body The 12-and-under Diamond Dusters, who went 6-0 this season, competed in the Plainview YMCA 11-12 tournament in June and made it into the championship game. The final score of the championship game versus USA was 8-6 with Floydada taking first place overall.

Body Lockney Independent School District has announced that Josie Walker has been hired to lead Lockney High School into the future. Walker began her educational career as an English teacher at LHS and returns to Lockney from Plainview ISD.
