Jack Milton Covington, age 90, of Lockney, Texas, passed away on Friday, Feb. 6, 2026, in Matador, Texas.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2026, at the First Baptist Church of Lockney, with military honors.
Jack was born in Floyd County on Sept. 15, 1935 to Francis Milton Covington and Mattie Covington.
Local survivors include his wife, Tanya Covington; his son Joe Covington; and his grandsons Brandon Covington and Tyler Covington.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Boys Ranch of Texas.
Arrangements are under the personal care of the Moore-Rose Funeral Home of Lockney.
