The Lockney Independent School District board of trustees on March 10, 2025 announced Steve Reynolds as the lone finalist for superintendent of schools. Reynolds has 18 years of experience in Texas public schools and returned to the South Plains after serving as superintendent at Frost ISD since 2022.
