One week after rolling past Floydada with fireworks on both sides of the ball, the Lockney Longhorns found themselves grinding through a much different contest Friday night. At Mitchell Zimmerman Field, the Horns couldn’t quite find their offensive spark, dropping a 28-21 decision to the Plains Cowboys in a game that slipped away in the small moments.
