Another name for fly swatter is tea strainer.

Yeah, I’ve already told that story — maybe twice. If you missed it, picture loose tea leaves piled on one of those old pre-plastic all metal swatters, back when swatters were swatters — when ships were made of wood and men were made of steel.

Today’s fly swatters all seem to be plastic, at least when it comes to the swatting part…
