retained its same name. CHAMBER HONORS The Floydada Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture named the 126-yearold Floyd County Hesperian-Beacon newspaper its Business of the Year for 2022. Bobby Gilliand, mayor of Floydada (above, in an earlier photo with wife, Barbara), was named Citizen of the Year.
FLOYDADA ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION hired Ryan Crowe as executive director. Crowe set about on an ambitious agenda for downtown and business improvements.
