Operation Christmas Child wrapped up on Sunday, Nov. 19 at the First Baptist Church of Floydada, and volunteers and members from churches in Crosbyton, Petersburg, Matador, Lockney, Quitaque, Turkey, Fairmont, Spur, McAdoo, Silverton, Paducah and Floydada collected 1,215 boxes with gifts for children in povertystricken and war-torn areas around the world.
