The #14 ranked Floydada Whirlwinds varsity basketball had a huge win over Sudan Friday night, besting the Hornets 116-27 at home.
Friday night’s victory brought the Whirlwinds to a 24-5 season record and 6-1 in District 4-2A. Earlier in the week, the Winds knocked off Hale Center 99 to 66 for another district victory Tuesday night.
