Luis M. Romero, age 79, passed away February 4, 2022.
Graveside services were held at 1 p.m., Thursday, February 10, 2022, at the Floydada Cemetery.
Visitation was held from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, February 9, 2022 in the Moore-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Floydada.
Arrangements are under the personal care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Floydada.
Luis was born June 27, 1942 to Pablo and Maria Jesus (Mendez) Romero. He married Margarita Segura Romero February 26, 1982 in Crosbyton, Texas. He was a farmer for many years. Luis was a member of St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church of Floydada.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Margarita Romero; both parents, Pablo and Maria Jesus Romero; one granddaughter; one grandson; one brother; and one sister.
Those left to cherish Luis are his four sons and five daughters, Jorge and Veronica Romero of Los Angeles, California, Armando and Maria Del Carmen Romero of Tinguindin Michoacan, Mexico, George and Casey Romero of Floydada, Texas, Noe Romero and Lupita Cruz of Arlington Texas, Irma Romero of Los Angeles, California, Noelia and Israel Herrera of Tinguindia Michoacan, Mexico, Lourdes and Javier Juarez of Tinguindia Michoacan, Mexico, Mary Romero of North Richland Hills, Texas, Dianna and Russell Williams of Arlington, Texas; 26 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two sisters.
