Body The Lockney Lady Horns softball team hosted the Ropes Lady Eagles on April 14. The Lady Horns entered the game having already qualified for the playoffs.Ropes took an early lead with six runs in the top of the second inning.

#10 Lady Winds end regular season against Clarendon and Quanah

Body The #10 Floydada Lady Winds hosted the Ropes Lady Eagles on April 7 for their final non-district regular season game of the season. The Lady Winds entered the game with an eight-game winning streak—with their last loss coming against Childress in a tournament game in February.

Body Katie Landin took 2nd place and is a regional qualifier. In boys doubles, David Guerra and Ryan Tinoco took 3rd place and are regional alternates.Braeden Ramirez took 4th place. In mixed doubles, Tiffiny Perez and Martin Ramirez took 4th place.

Body The Lockney Longhorns and Lady Horns track and field teams traveled to Sudan on April 8 to compete in the District 3-2A Track Meet. Lockney competed against teams from Bovina, Farwell, Hale Center, Olton and Sudan.
