Body School days, school days! If you know that old song, or even if you don’t, you may remember with me that nothing was better than a snowy day when school didn’t happen. The powers that were didn’t want the buses getting stuck.

State sales tax revenue totaled record $4.11 Billion in January

Body Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar today said state sales tax revenue totaled $4.11 billion in January, 6.6 percent more than in January 2022. The majority of January sales tax revenue is based on sales made in December and remitted to the agency in January.
