State lowers price cap for power providers

Body Candidates have begun to file for 2022 elections in Floyd County, and this week Ginger Morgan filed for re-election as county/district clerk.

Body Breakfast casseroles are in the spotlight during the holidays. Even if we are not expecting a large group of family or friends, it is still a nice idea to have one planned for Christmas morning. Or to have anytime during the holidays.

Body The Center will be closed to the public on Wednesday, Nov. 24, Thursday, Nov. 25, and Friday, Nov. 26 for the Thanksgiving holidays. HOMEBOUND CLIENTS will still receive their delivered meals on these days. There will be NO GAME NIGHT on Thursday, Nov. 25.

Googaly-eyes pine cones

Body The eyes have it. Eyes bring inanimate objects to life. I refer to the little black-and-white glue-on kind with pupils that rattle around under clear plastic lenses. Granddaughter Emily calls them googaly eyes. Sticking them on pinecones is a good holiday activity for all ages.
