Body STAFF REPORTSDorcas Baker, age 61, passed away on Dec. 18, 2025. Graveside services are planned for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, 2026 at the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Floydada, according to an obituary notice posted on the website of Moore-Rose Funeral Home.

Body The Floydada Lady Winds hosted the Tahoka Lady Bulldogs last week for their third district game of the season. The Lady Winds entered the game hoping to avoid losing their third straight game following their stint in the Caprock Classic.
