Floydada Chamber gives scholarships to two Floydada students

Body The Floydada Chamber of Commerce scholarships are chosen annually by the Chamber board and are given to students who have volunteered for events throughout high school. Selected for the Floydada Collegiate ISD Class of 2023 were Tatum Glassock and Izaih Alvarado.

FLOYDADA ISD SUMMER FOOD PROGRAM

Body Floydada ISD is participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to all children 1-18 years of age. Floydada ISD does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, or disability in the course of the meal services.

Lira graduates as part of WTAMU’s Class of 2023

Body CANYON— The final tally is 1,110 graduates for West Texas A&M University’s Class of May 2023. One of the graduates was from Floydada, Jose David Lira, who earned a B.S. degree in agriculture business and economics.
