Body House Speaker Dade Phelan, R-Beaumont, told The Dallas Morning News and other media outlets that he is open to bringing resort-style casinos to Texas. But don’t expect to find slot machines in 7-Eleven stores if casino gambling is legalized.

Body The West Texas Regional 2023 Scholastic Art Competition is currently on display on the Wayland Baptist University campus. The exhibit, which features more than 300 art pieces created by kids in grades 7 to 12 from across the area, is on display at the Abraham Art Gallery.
