Roasted Butternut Squash with Garlic and Shallots

Body Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place cubed butternut squash onto the prepared baking sheet. Spritz with a light amount of non-stick cooking spray. Add garlic, shallots, red pepper, and salt, and toss to evenly distribute.

Lege gets to work in fourth special session

Body AUSTIN— The Texas Legislature, conceived as a part-time body to meet every other year for 140 days, is now in its record fifth session (counting the regular session).

State sales tax revenue totaled $3.8 billion in October

Body AUSTIN—Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar today said state sales tax revenue totaled $3.81 billion in October, down 0.3 percent from October 2022. The majority of October sales tax revenue is based on sales made in September and remitted to the agency in October.
