I am a perfectly healthy 65-year-old woman. Okay, maybe not perfectly healthy. I am a bit overweight, but as far as health problems go I have been extremely fortunate.

Most of my favorite desserts are those made with fruit. Maybe it’s a nutritional thing, making me feel less guilt. Of course we can also do so much to take even fruit-filled desserts over the top that we cancel out the good nourishment.
