Wildfire danger continues to rise

Body AUSTIN—As we cross the halfway point of July, wildfire danger continues to increase across the state. On Friday, Texas A&M Forest Service firefighters responded to 15 new wildfires that burned 651 acres.

South Plains College to host annual Camp Bluegrass

Body South Plains College will host the 36th Annual Camp Bluegrass July 17-22 (Sunday through Friday). This year, the camp will focus on Women in Bluegrass. This six-day residential camp attracts bluegrass musicians from across the nation.
