Lady Winds JV basketball team brings home first place trophy from Hale Center tournament

    The Floydada Lady Winds Junior Varsity basketball team played in the Hale Center tournament Dec. 5–7 and came home with the first-place trophy. They won against Hale Center 40-28, New Home 26-18, Hale Center 34-24 and Olton 43-32.

    Their season record before starting district play is 9-3.
