Floydada basketball teams travelled to Tahoka last Friday, Dec 20 to kick off the holiday break.
The Lady Winds took their first loss in district play, losing 48-56, making their overall district record 2-1.
The Whirlwinds defeated the Bulldogs 69-56 for their first district game of the season.
Both teams will host New Home in Floydada on Friday, Jan 3 to continue their district runs.
