PLAINVIEW— Wayland Baptist University invites the community to gather on campus for its annual “Lighting Up Wayland” celebration, taking place immediately after Plainview’s community Christmas parade on Thursday, Dec. 4.
Festivities are expected to begin at approximately 7:30 p.m. at Gates Hall Circle, located in front of historic Gates Hall on Quincy Street.
“Lighting Up Wayland” has become a favorite holiday event for both the university and the Plainview community. The evening will feature seasonal music provided by the School of Creative Arts, along with a warm and festive atmosphere for families of all ages.
