Every fall thousands of pumpkins are shipped from Floydada, Texas to cities far and wide. For the second year in a row, that includes Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C.
On Sept. 30, Floydada Economic Development Corporation director Ryan Crowe presented Senator Ted Cruz with a “pie-sized” pumpkin in celebration of the city’s upcoming Punkin Days celebration.
