There’s a lot of good news about Floyd County’s pumpkin crop this year despite the dry summer, said veteran grower Tim Assiter.
'The pumpkins are great. There’s some big stuff, and there are pretty pumpkins—and lots of yield.”
Though much of the crop was late getting started, by now Assiter’s crews are pulling the pumpkins from the fields as fast as they can go....
