Lefevre named to WTAMU President’s List

Body Hunter Lefevre of Lockney was named to the President’s List at West Texas A&M University for the 2021 fall semester. A computer science major classified as a sophomore, Lefevre is the son of Billy and Kristy Lefevre of Lockney.

Kuykendall to present ‘sermon in clay’ at Lockney’s FBC

Body On Sunday, Feb. 6, Ron Kuykendall will be presenting a sermon in clay at the First Baptist Church in Lockney. Services will start at 10:45 a.m. Kuykendall, the church’s worship leader, is also a noted potter of clay who displays his products at many area events.

Body The Center is now open three days a week. We are serving lunch on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. We offer dine-in, carry-out or delivery. On Wednesdays we will be selling meals to go for $5. Meals on Tuesdays and Thursdays are $7.

Lockney Senior Center News

Body The Center will be closed on Monday, Feb. 21 for Presidents’ Day. Annual membership dues for the Center for 2022 are now due and can be sent to the Center. Membership fee remains the same at $30 per year per person.
