Lockney garbage truck out of service; residents directed to landfill for trash disposal

City of Lockney staff posted last week on social

media that the community’s garbage truck was out of service.

“Due to prohibited items being improperly disposed of, we had a small fire in the hopper of the truck this morning,” the post read. “Please remember, dumpsters are for household trash only.”
