Disaster was averted following a head-on collision on U.S. 70 in Floydada Sunday morning, March 16. The accident occurred around 7:55 a.m. at the “Y” intersection across from the Dairy Queen when a pickup truck driving eastbound in the wrong lane collided with a westbound car.
