Lockney, Texas, native Wade Jackson, district attorney for the 110th District Court, last week announced his resignation midway through his second four-year term.
Jackson told the Hesperian-Beacon he was stepping down for personal family reasons. He will continue to handle his caseload, he said, and had already overseen grand juries in the circuit’s three smaller counties before resigning.
