The annual Lighthouse Electric Cooperative Youth Tour speech contest will take place on Saturday, February 26 at the Floydada office. Two winners will receive an expense-paid trip to Washington, D.C. and a $1,500 scholarship.
Each student will give a 5-8 minute speech to a panel of judges, who will grade the criteria based on speaking ability, poise and appearance.
