The Floydada Lady Winds varsity girls basketball team lost a close district game to district-leading Sudan 60-56 at home on Friday.
After trailing the ‘Nettes at halftime, 27-19, the Lady Winds rallied and took over the lead in the third quarter, 36-34.
The lead changed hands throughout the fourth quarter until Sudan tied it up at the final buzzer, and the game went into overtime.
