FLOYDADA—Tammy Martinez, age 43, passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Monday, January 10, 2022 in the Moore-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Floydada.
Arrangements were under the personal care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Floydada.
Tammy was born November 15, 1978, in Dublin, Texas, to Oscar Martinez and Elida (Aleman) Martinez.
She graduated from Floydada High School in 1996. Tammy then worked for the Texas Department of Health and Human Resources for a long time.
Tammy is survived by her father, Oscar Martinez, and his fiancée, Sylvia Cantu; her best friend, Rebecca Miller (Philadelphia); her mother, Elida (Aleman) Martinez; her daughters, Kaylea Martinez and Emalea Bruns; her sister, Ann Marie Hernandez; her stepsister, Lynn Smith; her nephews, Jaxon Smith and Jagger Gonzales; her nieces, Bresa Marie Gonzales and Lexi Hernandez; her nephew, Jayden (J.J.) Gonzales; her brother-in-law, Jeremy Hernandez (San Angelo); her aunts and uncles, Grace Salinas and Raymond Fuchs (Dublin), Adelfino and Ruth Aleman (Floydada), Victoria Aleman (Dublin), Mary Aleman (Floydada), Dalia Sanchez (Floydada), and Maria Cotton; and numerous cousins and other extended family who will miss her greatly.
