WILLOW PARK, TEXAS— Norma Gene Feuerbacher passed into the loving arms of Jesus on Saturday, February 19, 2022.

She was born to Sam and Lois Weatherall on April 29, 1929, in Roaring Springs, Texas, and was raised in nearby Paducah.

Norma married William A. (Bill) Feuerbacher on February 8, 1960, in Plainview, Texas. He adopted her sons Jeff and Shawn, and son Brad was born later. Active for many years in the Floydada community, Bill served as city manager and Norma as an 8th grade history teacher. They were members of First United Methodist Church.

Upon retirement Bill and Norma traveled widely and, years later, settled in San Angelo, Texas, near their son Shawn.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents and three older siblings, her husband, Bill, and son Shawn Feuerbacher.

Norma is survived by two sons, Jeff (Debi) and Brad (Belinda); grandchildren Kalie (Josh) Sires with two young sons, Cory (Raegan) Feuerbacher, and Drew (Abby) Feuerbacher; Norma’s sister, Linda; and a number of nieces and nephews. Her son Shawn’s beloved widow, Linda, recently lost her daughter, Megan Acevedo, and has two remaining children dear to the family, Brad (JoAnne) Beach with two daughters and Monica Beach (Manuel Bejil) with two sons.

We will celebrate the life of our dear Norma in Floydada on Friday, February 25, with a 10 a.m.–11 a.m. visitation at Moore-Rose Funeral Home and a 2 p.m. memorial service at First United Methodist Church of Floydada.

Norma will later be buried next to her husband, Bill, in the Floydada Cemetery.
