Sara Eva Guzman, 58, of Hale Center, Texas, passed away peacefully at home on August 5, 2025.

A Celebration of Life service was held at 3 p.m., Sunday, August 10, 2025 at Abundant Grace in Plainview, Texas.

Burial followed the service at the Floyd County Memorial Park.

Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.

Sara was born in Lockney, Texas, on November 23, 1966, to Marcelino N. Guzman and Crispina Garza.

She graduated from Floydada High School and was a devoted homemaker whose greatest joy was her family. She loved fishing, especially for catfish, sewing, working on puzzles, and spending time with loved ones. She was a caring mother to her three children, and a proud grandmother to 17 grandchildren. She cherished every visit and call from family.

She is survived by three children, Juan Bernardo Guzman and wife, Angelina, of Lubbock; Eric Marcelino Perez and wife, Julie, of Nevada; and Nikki Eloidia Juarez and husband, Fidel, of Kansas; 17 grandchildren; nine siblings, Janie Martinez, Emilio Guzman, Barbara G. Hernandez, Susana McKnight, Maryann Gonzales, Amelia Guzman, Rogelio Guzman, Sandra Morales and Helen Rodriguez.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Marcelino and Crispina Guzman, and one sister, Janie Martinez.

Pallbearers are Eli Juarez, Fidel Juarez V, Jazmin Juarez, Eric M. Perez II, Juan Carlos Guzman, Beto Torres, Anthony Cervantes and Joey Guzman.
