LOCKNEY MURAL Celebrated artist Andy Stapp of Lockney began work on a new mural on a Main Street building this spring. By mid-June Stapp posted his progress on Facebook, requesting ideas for a design to fill the two light-colored brick bands on the building. Suggestions ranged from patriotic slogans to artistic designs representing Lockney’s history. As of this week, the post had generated more than 150 comments. | COURTESY PHOTO
