1951–2024
Danny Joe Durham, age 73, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2024 in Lubbock.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, March 28, 2024 at the First Baptist Church in Lockney. Interment will follow at the Lockney Cemetery.
Visitation was held from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at Moore-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Lockney.
Arrangements are under the personal care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home of Lockney.
Danny was born January 4, 1951 in Floydada, Texas, to Lester Durham and Annie Louise Fortenberry.
He married the love of his life, Lesca, on October 11, 1974 in Aiken, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Jimmy Durham and brother, Leon Guilliams.
Danny loved his family dearly, and enjoyed many cookouts with family and friends. He had many hobbies; a few of them were reading, watching NASCAR, woodworking, and fishing. He was a Dallas Cowboys and St. Louis Cardinals fan. Danny also enjoyed helping during stock show season.
Danny is survived by his wife, Lesca Durham of Lockney; sons Mikhael (Diana) Durham of Lubbock and Timothy “Cooter” (Brooke) Durham of Lubbock; grandchildren Courtney, Blake, Karlee and Kye; one great-grandchild, Liam; one brother, Don (Linda) Guilliams of West Plains, Missouri; one sister, Melba Dudley of Carlsbad, New Mexico; and a sister-in-law, Sue (Jim) Borkus of West Plains, Missouri. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and in-laws.
