Spring Lipham Winn, age 46, of Pittsburg, Texas, passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022. Spring was born February 28, 1975 in Plainview, Texas, to Julian and Joyce Lipham. She was the youngest of seven children and adored by all.
She attended Floydada and Daingerfield, Texas, schools graduating from Floydada. She was a cheerleader at Floydada High School. She won first place in talent and beauty contests, winning the talent portion many times with a voice like Patsy Cline. She sang her entire life.
She was a mentor to young children in her apartment complex whom they loved dearly. She loved teaching them from the Bible and singing.
After a long battle with a rare autoimmune disease she beat for many years through prayer and perseverance, her attitude was always positive, she never complained, and her inner spirit continued to shine through!
Spring was preceded in death by her father, Julian Lipham, and grandparents, Dena and Henry Myrick and Roy and Nellie Lipham.
She is survived by two sons, Bodhi and Cypress Winn of Pittsburg, Texas; mother and stepfather, Joyce and Max Taylor of Texarkana, Texas; three brothers, Richard Nelson (Paula), Tim Lipham (Angie) and Joe Lipham (Becky); three sisters, Brenda Nelson, Charlotte Brewer (Terry) and Julianne Cornelius (Eric); plus nieces, nephews and extended family.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m., Monday, January 17, 2022 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Revs. John Webb and Mike Holster officiated. Pianist was Gayla Griffin. Burial followed in the Hillcrest Cemetery.
The family received friends on Sunday, January 16, 2022 from 3 to 5 p.m. at East Funeral Home-Moores Lane.
