South Plains College hosted a special ceremony Tuesday, Nov. 30. in the Welding Department to mark the decommissioning of a World War II 75mm Pack Howitzer cannon.
The canon is exhibited at the Silent Wings Museum, 6202 N. I-27 in Lubbock. Eddy Grigsby, museum assistant manager, accepted the cannon.
