Ruby Snider, age 88, passed away on August 14, 2021 in Lockney, Texas.
A graveside service was held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at the Llano Cemetery in Amarillo, Texas.
Arrangements were under the personal care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Floydada.
Ruby was born March 3, 1933 in Amarillo to Marcus Talmadge and Rosia Lee (Weatherley) Junell.
She met the love of her life, Dwight Snider, and they were married December 25, 1948 in Amarillo. Ruby loved to sew, bake and crochet. She always served as head of the food committee at the churches she attended, the last one being the Bell Avenue Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dwight; a great-grandson, Howard Rex Harrison; five brothers; and one sister.
Those left to cherish Ruby’s memory are her son, Teddy Snider, and his wife, Charlyn, of Amarillo; two daughters, Carol Ball of Carrollton, Texas, and Beverly Harrison and her husband, Rex, of Floydada; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
