    Floydada FFA took part in the first annual Cotton Field Classic Build-Off and Welding Certification Event held Saturday, Sept. 16 at Lorenzo ISD. Floydada took two teams to the competition, and received fifth and sixth place in the event. The teams were required to build and weld fire pits.
