Alfredo “Freddy” Rodriguez, age 57, formerly of Floydada, passed away on Thursday, April 29, 2021.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, May 3, 2021 at Calvary’s Cornerstone Fellowship in Floydada.
Interment followed at the Floydada Cemetery.
Visitation was held from 2 p.m. – 8 p.m., Sunday, May 2, 2021 at Calvary’s Cornerstone Fellowship in Floydada.
Arrangements were under the personal care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Floydada.
Alfredo was happily married to Annette Rodriguez for 27 years.
He attended Calvary Cornerstone and had been a member for many years.
Freddy was employed at Farmers Coop Compress in Plainview, Texas for ten years. Freddy was a hard worker. There was no job he wouldn’t do. Freddy woke up everyday to provide for his family.
He was a big Dallas Cowboys fan. Win or lose, he wouldn’t miss a game, especially if it meant spending time with his family. Freddy loved all his grandbabies. They were his pride and joy.
Alfredo was preceded in death by his parents, Francisco Rodriguez and Elvira Rodriguez and a brother, Daniel Diaz of Floydada.
Freddy is survived by his wife, Annette; his mother, Victoriana Rodriguez; his children, Elizabeth Rodriguez of Plainview, Alfredo and Leticia Rodriguez of Petersburg, Eddy and Alexx Rodriguez of Lockney, Crissy Rodriguez and Chris Rodriguez of Floydada. Alfredo had 14 grandkids, Xzavier, Ruben Jr., Angel, Victoria, Jax, Ace, Miley, Jacob, Aidan, Adalynn, Aryanna, Joshua Jr., Harmony and Izaias, He is also survived by his brothers, Armondo Garza from Weslaco, Texas; Guadalupe Rodriguez of Floydada, Juan Eloy Rodriguez of Minnesota, and Francisco Rodriguez Jr., of Floydada; and his sisters, Delma Diaz, Adela Gill, Marivel Rodriguez, Elvira Rodriguez, Esmeralda Phillips, Maria Jimenez, Sandra Ramos, Diana Garza, Macha Cantu, and Juanita Rodriguez.
