The A.E. Baker Chapter of the National Honor Society of Floydada Collegiate High School welcomed ten new members on Sunday, Feb. 21, during the NHS induction ceremony held at the Floydada Collegiate High School auditorium.
The incoming members were chosen based on their demonstration of scholarship, leadership, service and character. They were pinned on Friday, Feb. 5, and became official members after their tapping at the ceremony.
The inductees were TJ Adams, junior; Jody Briones, senior; Peyton Anderson, junior;
Dillon Bruington, sophomore; Saul Reyes, sophomore; Tatum Glasscock, sophomore;
Alyssa Hinson, junior; Faith Lopez, sophomore; Devin Reyes, sophomore; and Lailah Burks, sophomore.
The Floydada Chapter of the National Honor Society also includes Kyle Bruington, senior;
Clarissa Delafuente, junior; Nathanael Garza, junior; Ryder Glass, senior; Trace Glasscock, senior; Ashlyn Green, junior; Luke Holcombe, senior; Brandon Marquez, junior; Jazmin Pacheco, junior; Kailee Sanchez, junior; Audrie Strange, senior; Erin Trevino, junior; and
Kaitlyn Vega, junior.
The NHS officers are president, Luke Holcombe; vice-president, Trace Glasscock; secretary, Nathanael Garza; and treasurer, Ryder Glass.
