November 2
Sheriff’s Office received a phone call of a vehicle’s interior being burned on FM 54 in Floyd County. The responding Deputy determined that there had been an electrical fire underneath the dashboard.
November 6
Sheriff’s Office received a call from an individual from the State of Kansas. He informed the Deputy that someone had used his personal information to obtain Direct TV services in the City of Lockney. The suspect left an outstanding bill of over six hundred dollars.
November 8
Sheriff Raissez recovered a trailer that was blocking the entrance of the Lockney Coop that had been reported stolen out of Lubbock.
Sheriff Raissez responded to a crash at Producer’s Coop Elevator where a vehicle backed into another vehicle. No injuries reported.
November 16
Deputy received a call from a Plainview I.S.D School Resource Officer of a sexual assault that occurred in Floyd County. This case is under investigation.
November 17
Deputy conducted a traffic stop in the 600 Block of East Houston Street in the City of Floydada. While the Deputy was conducting a driver’s license check the driver sped off. After a short pursuit that ended on the Matador Highway, Don Nall, 48, of Lubbock was arrested for Evading Arrest in a Motor Vehicle and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
November 18
Deputy responded to the 400 block of East Guest Street in the City of Lockney in reference to a Theft of an Apple Air MacBook that was taken out of a vehicle. A few days later the Deputy was contacted an informed that the MacBook had been located.
November 19
Deputy responded to the 700 Block of North East 7th Street in the City of Lockney in reference to a Burglary of a Residence. The caller reported two TV’s, a jewelry box, a 13-inch monitor, a DVD player and a Blue Ray player were taken. Total value of loss $1400.
November 19
Deputy responded to the 600 Block of South West 1st Street in the City of Lockney in reference to Domestic Assault. Arnaldo Lopez, Jr., 27, of Lockney was arrested for a Family Violence Assault.
November 20
Deputy responded to 3001 Love Road at the Plains Baptist Camp in reference to vandalism. Deputy was told that someone broke four mirrors and a water heater that was in storage.
November 26
Deputy conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of East Locust Street in the City of Lockney that resulted in an arrest. Jana Hancock, 50, of Lockney was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance.
November 27
Deputy conducted a traffic stop on US Highway 70 that resulted in an arrest.
Robert Santiago, 24, of Lubbock was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance.
November 27
Deputy responded to the 100 block of East Locust Street in the City of Lockney in reference to Criminal Mischief. Someone tried breaking into the business by breaking out the window. Entry was not made.
